Original Military Helmet SSH40 Steel WW2 Soviet Army RKKA WWII Size 2 Medium.
For sale here is a immediate post war SSH40. These were some of the last helmets to be made from wartime material. It’s possible this helmet was a refurbished wartime helmet as there appears to be paint streaks on the inside.
These helmets are nearly identical to the wartime helmets with the only major exception being the metal tip on the chinstrap.
The helmet seems to be in unused condition although shows a lot of heavy storage wear such as a worn liner, dust, paint scratches, rust, staining and a dent or two.
