Rosewood is a valuable hard wood from various tropical trees of the
Dalbergia
family. The wood is reddish brown to a dark purplish brown, and can be streaked with brown or black. Native to parts of Pakistan and India, it is an abundant tree that is often used in the crafting of bed, tables, and chairs, as well as beads of wooden malas.
