1950/60's toy/educational kit used and remembered by many!
Made by Remco Toys Inc,; Newark, New Jersey, this was meant to introduce kids to the principals of radio while having fun.  They came in several colors including blue and black.  This one is the yellow version.
Plastic is in great shape.  Has hard to find headsets and the original antenna as well!  No damage, great for personal or museum collection.
No box, radio and accessories only (no ground wire)
Inductive tuning - no batteries needed
Receives on Broadcast bands (MW)

Note:
Being a primitive induction receive (only) radio, sensitivity is very low unless
very
near a strong signal.  There are a few good articles on the Web which will give an idea on how to improve sensitivity
, which is what many kids had to do to get more desirable audio results
(Although, there was no internet back then, they had to go to the library!)
.  Nevertheless, this makes a wonderful reminiscent display piece and still offers the opportunity to learn about radio and share the past with others!
